Biometrics

Biometrics- Biometric technologies are becoming the foundation of an extensive array of highly secure identification and personal verification solution. As the level of security breaches increase, the need for highly secure identification and personal verification technologies is becoming apparent. HSE will showcase innovation and technology advances in the biometric industry to the European sector.

RFID- In recent years the threat to Homeland Security has greatly come from the inability to efficiently track people, goods and military hardware. There is a real need for reliable tagging equipment, and now RFID enters the Homeland security arena to address these issues. RFID brings a new level of security to the World. HSE will examine how RFID has been introduced and will look at the value and limitations in Homeland Security.

E-passports- Immigration and illegal border crossing are at all time high throughout the EU. HSE will have an in depth look into the implementation of electronic passports into the European Union and how they can improve Homeland Security. There is huge emphasis on certification and testing through interoperability throughout the EU and on an international scale.
