CBRN

In recent months much has been said about the threat posed by terror groups using biological and chemical warfare agents on the European population. Formulating a strategy to combat CBRN threats goes hand in hand with countering terrorism today.

There is an evident need to tackle issues surrounding national capabilities and requirements, force preparation, consequence management, civilian first responders and the threat of bio-terrorism. However, only 25 nations worldwide have a CBRN warfare program, therefore the need for proven reliable equipment has never been greater.

HSE will examine in depth the advances made in CBRN detection, protection and decontamination equipment and technologies. High-level government, public sector and military officials, and industry experts will deliver crucial information on how to decrease and respond to CBRN threats. Our aim is to provide the senior decision maker across Europe’s Homeland Security arena with the information and the guidance that they need.

Topics Under Discussion
